Rental Car Adventure #1 - Stonehenge

After hanging around the flat for a week, Kale and I were ready for a quick travel adventure.  We came to the conclusion that our visit to the UK would be incomplete if we missed Scotland.  We also wanted to see Stonehenge.  We rented a small, eco-friendly, Chevy Spark, which incidentally is not made in the United States.

As you can see, Kale was very proud of her...42 miles/per gallon, too!

Our first stop was Stonehenge.  The hour and a half drive was well worth it!  It was, as our friend Lisa described, "magical."

  1. Lovely pics! I went to Stonehenge as a child but more recently got there just after closing time - so all my photos are from behind a quite far away fence! But it looks like nobody else was there at the same time as you - how did you get that to happen?

  2. There were 100's of people there actually, we just had to wait for the right moment, and stay away from the bus crowds :-)
